2017 has seen Exmouth DHS introduced a number of exciting programs to expose our students to learning with and through technology.
including, using coding apps on iPads, lpatops, robotics, creating games using power point and even using 3d printing After reading the poem "Spaghetti" by Shel Silverstein the class were busy describing the properties of cooked spaghetti and created some great spaghetti art. The Ningaloo Outlook research team will be out at Ningaloo reef in the new year to tag nesting female turtles. Its hoped that the tagging of these large females will help to gather more information on where they travel to and areas of importance. You will be able to track these animals at seaturtle.org

One thing I miss about living around Perth is taking my kids to visit a place dedicated to making science hands on and fun. The good news is SCITECH has come to the party and created their first online game. This game links very well to the junior primary science curriculum strands..... but is fun for everyone. You can even win a 3D printed prize for the fastest time in your age group.
