A group of year 5 /6 and year 7/8 students across Australia will have a chance of a lifetime to name the new Australian Ice Breaker. The winning groups will then set off for a briefing in Hobart before flying further south to experience the environment where the new ice breaker will be working....Antarctica.

Year threes have been conducting investigations about how fast chocolate melts. They identified and changed one variable and timed how long it takes a whole 'Freddo Frog' to melt compared to a 'Freddo' that has been broken in to small pieces..
